Eco Warriors Nagaland Team after a cleanliness drive in zoological park
Ecowarriors Nagaland is an NGO of like minded individuals concerned with the conservation of biodiversity in Nagaland. We spread awareness on conservation with outreach programs and event and collaborate with government and non governmental organizations. Sensitive towards the conservation of nature, Eco Warriors Nagaland was established in 2018.
The journey of Eco Warriors Nagaland began with a training program called "ENVIS Hub" which was organized by the Nagaland Pollution Control Board, on GSDP (Green Skill Development Program) where waste management and the importance of conserving natural resources were taught. The program paved the way and instilled the ethics of conservation in us. It also broadened our perspective and desire to contribute to the community as individuals sharing a common goal of protecting the natural resources. since its inception Ecowarriors Nagaland has been working on various projects in collaboration with the forest department, Government of Nagaland with a vision for transforming the community towards active participation of biodiversity and wildlife conservation.

Born out of the spirit of youth and the wisdom of tradition, Eco Warriors Nagaland embodies the values of respect for nature, collective action, and sustainable living. Our foundation lies in the belief that every small step towards conservation adds up to create a larger impact, and that the people of Nagaland can be active custodians of their environment. We stand as advocates for biodiversity, cultural harmony with nature, and the preservation of indigenous ecological knowledge. At our core, we are dreamers and doers who envision a Nagaland where human progress thrives in balance with the natural world. More than an organization, we are a movement of like-minded people — teachers, students, professionals, and community members — all brought together by the conviction that protecting our environment is inseparable from protecting our identity, culture, and future.
