Every individual carries a story, and Ms. Kulangla A. Sangtam’s is one rooted in passion, purpose, and a deep love for nature. A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Patkai Christian College, she brings both knowledge and heart to everything she does.
As a proud member of Eco Warriors Nagaland, Kulangla stands out not only for her commitment to environmental conservation, but also for the warmth, sincerity, and enthusiasm she brings to her work. Her dedication to engaging young minds and fostering a deeper connection with the natural world makes her a truly inspiring figure—and a deserving Eco Warrior of the Month.

About Kulangla
Kulang first started her journey with the Eco Warriors Nagaland as an intern, her passion, talent, groundedness, caught the eyes of like minded individuals in the Eco Wariors Nagaland, and soon she was offered a position as a member of the organization. Kulangla has contributed immensely to outreach programs, especially those focused on engaging young minds. Her ability to connect with children—whether during bird-watching sessions, environmental awareness programs, or classroom interactions—reveals her natural gift for teaching. Kualang has also coordinated with ebird India and have conducted many birding activities with young students under their banners. She believes that change begins with the youngest members of society, and she pours her energy into nurturing their curiosity, empathy, and understanding of the natural world.
Her efforts in outreach coordination have played an important role in bridging communities with conservation activities. Through thoughtful engagement and hands-on learning experiences, she helps children see nature not as something distant, but as something living, breathing, and intertwined with their everyday lives.
