Mr. Tekameren I Jamir
Tekameren I. Jamir is a wildlife researcher, conservation practitioner, and Co-Founder of Eco Warriors Nagaland with experience in avian ecology, biodiversity conservation, and community-based environmental initiatives. He currently serves as Outreach Coordinator for a Bird Conservation Project under Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, leading conservation outreach, citizen-science programmes, and stakeholder engagement across Nagaland.
Previously, he worked as a Research Associate with Azim Premji Foundation, conducting research on the impacts of land-use systems on bird diversity across Nagaland. He has also served as Project Inspector for the Green Hub–Royal Enfield Forest Restoration Project, evaluating restoration efforts in Old Jalukie, Nagaland, and as Project Coordinator for the Kiphire Blyth’s Tragopan Survey. His expertise includes biodiversity monitoring, ecological field research, project coordination, conservation education, and community engagement. He is also a co-author of the Photographic Guide to Selected Birds of Fakim, Nagaland.
